MECSPE BARI – 28/30 november 2019

For 18 editions Mecspe has been the reference event for the manufacturing industry and has now reached Bari, to transfer all its know-how on innovation and the digitalisation of industries to the vibrant market of central-southern Italy and the Mediterranean basin.

A natural transfer of technology, with the aim of involving dynamic and growing districts with a finger on the pulse on the latest developments on the manufacturing sector scenario.

Significant funds made available by the Ministry of Economic Development as part of the “innovative machinery” initiative, in the order of over 340 million Euros as of January 2019 for micro, small and medium sized enterprises based in southern Italy who intend to make investments in line with the national “4.0 Business” plan, make MECSPE BARI the ideal nexus for offer and demand for technologies designed to encourage the digitalisation of manufacturing companies.

With the roadmap"MECSPE WORKSHOPS FOR DIGITAL MANUFACTURING, The Italian approach to Industry 4.0’’, MECSPE, the annual international industrial manufacturing event held in Parma, is crossing all strategic territories which are implementing and consolidating innovation paths for the development of an increasingly state-of-the -art, innovative and digital industry.
Puglia is one such territory, generally in virtue of its mechanical specialisation (approximately 8,000 companies with 50,000 employees) and specifically in virtue of its technological districts - mechatronics and high-tech in particular, plays a significant role at a local, national and international level.The sheer dynamism of this territory, home to several companies which excel in terms of innovation and digitalisation, coupled with the interest of local industrial sectors, has stimulated planning for a spin-off of the Mecspe event in Bari, a centre of the district's excellence.
